The Automatic Door Bottom is the cornerstone of Legacy Manufacturing’s impressive product line. This product, also called an automatic drop seal, is used on the bottom of a door to provide protection from fire, smoke, noise and other threats to the life safety and comfort of building occupants. When the door is closed, a plunger is mechanically pushed against the frame, allowing a spring mechanism within the door bottom to be activated and pushed downward. This process allows a seal to be activated, and the rubber insert creates a uniform, continuous seal along the bottom of the opening.
